Today, Mayor Rahm Emanuel cut the ribbon on the $50 million Cermak CTA Green Line station that will serve McCormick Place, new convention center hotels, the Motor Row entertainment district and a new DePaul basketball arena. Seen as a catalyst for development, it was important to the city that residents not only use the station but build it as well. With this in mind, Hebru was commissioned to create eight panels of public artwork depicting the rich history of Motor Row.
